Ski trip

My name is Ingrid I am from Wesley Intermediate School and From the fifteenth of August to the seventeenth of august I was at Mt Ruapehu  skiing with my school we skied on the first day but on the second day it was way to foggy I could hold out my hand and wouldn't be able to see my fingers. So instead we went to some hot pools and we went to the Waitomo glow worm caves it was so extraordinary I was amazed out of my mind. I picked it up really quickly and I was amazed at my own skill and I could ride down the steep slope without any help and I was very sad when we couldn't ski the second day. We stayed at the luxurious place called Mountain Heights Lodge and we got a three course dinner - Pumpkin soup , coleslaw and pies , chocolate sponge cake with chocolate icing. I had a great time with my friends and having my first time touching / doing anything with snow I was so proud of myself.
